BAHS Open Day Saturday 14 th September

The Badwell Ash History Society will be holding an open day in the Village Hall in September to commemorate the 80 th anniversary of the outbreak of World War II on September 1st 1939.
We are looking for any war memorabilia or stories which you would like to share with others on this day. We will be having an illustrated talk about Dad’s Army together with a short, original amateur film footage, previously unseen, dating from 1944. There will also be some displays of memorabilia.
More details to follow in the summer but we hope to hear from anyone who would like to share their memories/memorabilia sooner.
