Joseph Sadler: Unknown birth date. Died aged 37 in either 1837 or 1857. Unfortunately, the headstone is both weathered and has sunk making the details almost illegible. Further research revealed a Joseph Sadler in the 1841 census, born “about” 1796 and living in Langham. It shows him as head of the household with a wife, Mary with four children, Susannah, aged 19, Eliza aged 11, Edmund aged 9 and Elijah aged 7. This may be the same person but with separate corroboration, we cannot be sure.
